Federal Forfeiture Reform Update

Though committee hearings on John Conyers' Asset Forfeiture Justice
Act (HR 3347) were delayed until after the House debates the crime
bill, action is expected to commence after the June health care
debates. 

HR 3347  has been assigned to three main committees, each of which
have assigned the bill to a subcommittee:
