     Write your congressperson!  Urge him or her to co-sponsor HR
3347, the Asset Forfeiture Justice Act.  The introduction of this
urgently needed reform legislation is tremendously exciting.  Yet
before this bill can be enacted we will have to overcome fierce
opposition from those who feed at the 3 billion dollar forfeiture
trough.  We must generate a groundswell of personal lobbying for HR
3347 right away.  The opportunity to change federal law is here. 
Your letters are needed now more than ever before.

     Also contact both your senators and ask if a companion bill to
HR 3347 has been introduced in the Senate, and if not, will they do
so.
