Police seize gambling items

WHITPAIN – Armed with search warrants for five locations in Whitpain and
West Norriton‚ Pennsylvania State Police Troopers and Whitpain police
officers seized $25‚000‚ a motorcycle and several other items in
connection with an alleged sports-gambling operation Friday evening.
No arrests were made‚ but search warrants were served at the Whitpain
Tavern‚ owned by Patrick Tronoski; Tronoski’s Whitpain home on the 1600
block of Sylvan Drive; a vehicle driven by Tronoski; the billing address
for two cellular phones allegedly used by the ring; and the Whitpain home
of Keith Taddei on the 1200 block of Hereford Drive.
Along with the more than $25‚000 cash‚ investigators confiscated a 2002
Harley-Davidson motorcycle‚ several televisions and bookmaking
documents‚ according to police.
Tronoski and Taddei have not been charged in the investigation.
