MANHATTAN: POLICE SEIZE MONEY AND STEROIDS 

The police seized $2 million in cash and a large quantity of steroids
yesterday as part of an investigation by the Bureau of Immigration and
Customs Enforcement and the New York Police Department, the authorities
said. In an apartment raid, the police also arrested a suspect, Richard
Burack, 51, and charged him with second-degree criminal possession of a
controlled substance. 

The authorities began investigating the case on Nov. 17, when a parcel
containing steroids was intercepted on the West Coast, the police said. The
package was addressed to a building on East 74th Street where Mr. Burack
was living, the police said. In all, authorities confiscated 1,100 vials of
liquid steroids and 10,000 steroid pills, the police said.   Sabrina
