Several FEAR-List readers have forwarded email about the DOJ ordering libraries to destroy several DOJ forfeiture publications, but I wasn't able to verify it until today.  Here's a link to a Boston newspaper article about it.  If the link below wraps around to another line, you'll need to type the rest of the URL into your browser.

Yup. Here's the official request:

"Dear Depository Librarian:

"The Department of Justice has asked the Superintendent of Documents to instruct depository libraries to destroy all copies of the materials listed below..."
